The American Institute of Architects Kansas City proudly presents the CENTRAL STATES REGIONAL CONFERENCE 2008.
This conference is a celebration for architects practicing in the five-state region of Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Oklahoma. Kansas City, Missouri is this year's gracious host. The conference aims to celebrate the recent redevelopment of the Kansas City urban core and surrounding community, to recognize the practitioners and community leaders that have been responsible for the city's progress, and also to discuss, among peers, the relevancy and ultimate importance of the work designers do in and beyond the Central States.
The conference theme, "A Question of Relevancy" will examine the unique nature of practicing architecture in the Midwest with its distinct topography and climante as well as the culture, psyche and traditions of its people. As our collective work touches those inside and outside of our communities and as the global marketplace expands, how will our designer and architect practitioners' unique geographic location impact the built environment?

Onstage NY |

November 8th & 9th |
| Where: |
2100 Series Meeting Rooms |
| Cost: |
Registration Required. |
A typical Onstage NY Competition is a 2 day event, Saturday and Sunday. Typically, we try to schedule all 12 & under entries on Saturday AM, some 13 & up entries on Saturday PM, and finish Sunday with the rest of the 13 & up entries. The optional master classes are always scheduled around the competition, and never occur concurrently.
Onstage NY does reserve the right to extend any competition to a three day event- but never longer- thats a promise! A typical 3-day schedule will start on Friday afternoon after 3:00 PM. Onstage NY will turn-away registrations, regardless of postmark, in order to maintain our promise of a 3 day schedule. We strongly suggest that all paperwork AND fees be submitted as early as possible to insure acceptance of your entries.
Please note that these are typical schedules, and ALL schedules are subject to change based on the number of entries received for a particular event.
